Vice President - Andy Sharmat

Andy has more than 34 years of appraisal experience in commercial and residential valuation.  Mr. Sharmat has appraised a wide variety of properties, including apartment buildings, office properties, proposed subdivisions, condominium conversions, truck terminals, medical buildings, and industrial facilities, as well as numerous one to four family properties.  He has performed appraisals for mortgage lending, employee relocation, estates, eminent domain, and tax consultation.  Mr. Sharmat currently holds the MAI & SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute.

President - Steven Martinez

Steve has more than 30 years appraisal experience and has been especially active in the valuation of multi-family properties, mixed-use properties, and one to four family residences.  Mr. Martinez has worked in both institutuional and private practice settings and has extensive experience in appraisal review, management, and consultation.  He has been an approved FHA appraiser since 1989.  Mr. Martinez has been active with numerous professional organizations.  He was selected and served as the advanced candidate liaison to the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 1996/97.  He also has been a leader in the Appraisal section of MCAP (Mortgage Credit Access Partnership), which is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  A native of the Chicago area, Mr. Martinez has an intimate understanding of Chicago and Northwest Indiana's many communities.
